When we receive a text for translation, we start by reading through it to see what kind of text it is. When we translate a document, we normally work in Word with a translation tool called SDL Trados Studio. All of the text that is translated is saved into a ‘translation memory’ in SDL Trados Studio. This ensures that we use consistent terminology, with specific words and expressions for each customer, both when translating new texts and updates. This is standard practice in the industry and makes the translation process quicker and more cost-effective.
We also use other translation tools that are compatible with other file formats. If you contact one of our project managers, we will be happy to help you.
