If you would like to work as a freelancer for Alcuin Translations, you are more than welcome to send us your details. We will send you a test translation in the agreed language combination and topic. For some language combinations, we ask to see samples of your work instead.
It is important for you to include the following information in your application:
Education
Experience
Language combination
Translation tools (CAT-tools, SDL Trados Studio, Translation Workspace, Memsource, MemoQ, or other tools)
We hire translators with a university degree or who have many years’ experience of translation. We are happy to consider newly qualified translators!
At the moment we are particularly looking for people who can translate from German, Danish or Norwegian into Swedish, and medical translators from English into Swedish.
