Alcuin in short

Alcuin Translations AB was set up in May 2001 by four colleagues who had previously worked together for a translation agency that had closed down. We did not orginally have any premises, with each member working from home. However, over the years, we grew rapidly, moving into offices in the Hötorgsskraporna buildings in the centre of Stockholm. During this time our ownership structure also changed – there are now only three joint owners. In June 2005 we moved to our current offices in Östermalm and in the autmn of 2005 we hired our first employee. In the years since we started the company, we have seen major changes to our operations, both in terms of our customer base and our areas of expertise.
